Let’s UNpack THIS!

COLLEEN BOWLING is a SAG-E actor living in Los Angeles and San Francisco…but she didn't start there.

Colleen was born in Northern Ireland, immigrated at the age of seven, arrived in San Francisco, and moved out of the city to Concord, where she spent her childhood. As a young adult, she traveled back to Manchester, England, where Colleen worked in marketing after college, then back to San Francisco, married, and then moved quickly to New Jersey, where she spent almost a decade growing a family and working in NYC. Then, she returned to the Bay Area and finally moved to Los Angeles. One of the best things about Colleen is you can hear a little of all these places in her unique accent. Colleen brings shades of these unique experiences into all of her work.

With her likable and relatable look and voice, people are quickly drawn in to trust and believe her. She brings a wide range of casting, from the friendly Midwest neighbor/mom to the powerful pit bull of an attorney/boss.

She has studied a mix of Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Stanislavski,  Harold Guskin, and UCB Improv.

Her recent work includes a supporting role in Sofia Coppola's feature film Fairyland, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where she worked across from Scoot McNairy. She also made her LA stage debut in October 2022 as the lead actor in the play A Candle Burns Slowly.

NEWS: She is currently awaiting the FALL 2024 release of three feature films in which she had both supporting and lead roles. Click here to see some BTS moments.
